Videx products are marketed and distributed based on an open market. Videx does not assign territories or offer exclusive distribution agreements. We will not knowingly interfere with a reseller’s established sales channel, but Videx will always strive to deliver exceptional support to the customer, together with the reseller. Videx resellers are independent businesses, not franchisees, and have complete freedom to establish their own pricing and marketing strategies.

Videx resellers are permitted to purchase Videx hardware for resale and to support Videx installations while participating in the Partner Program. It is the responsibility of the reseller to provide the first line of support to customers by resolving hardware, software, and other technical support questions. Failure to provide support to customers may disqualify a reseller from continued participation in the Partner Program.

Partner Level Definitions

Videx sells and distributes products through a global channel that includes two Partner Levels. To participate in the Partner Program, you must meet all Participation Requirements for the Partner Level you participate in:

Authorized Hardware Resellers (AHR)

Authorized Hardware Resellers are entry-level partners. AHRs may provide hardware to customers that will use Videx’s grab-and-go scanning applications to meet basic data collection needs, or to customers that have access to their own in-house or third-party developers.

AHR Participation Requirements

In order to participate in the Videx Partner Program at the AHR Partner Level, you must:

  • Submit a complete, accurate Partner Application.
  • Demonstrate that you are currently engaged in the business of selling computers, computer related equipment and/or software.
  • Accept the Videx Reseller Partner Agreement, which sets forth the terms of your participation in the Videx Partner Program.
  • Upon approval, provide a copy of a valid business license and resale tax certificate for all jurisdictions in which your company operates.
  • While participating in the Partner Program, maintain accurate, up-to-date information regarding your company.

Value Added Resellers (VAR)

Value Added Resellers add significant value to Videx products through system integration, development of software enhancements, and/or other tailored services. VARs have also demonstrated a commitment to marketing Videx products as part of their standard offerings. Videx VARs deliver software solutions that enhance the customer’s ability to interface with Videx products. VARs may support end-users by integrating Videx products with existing third-party software platforms. A successful Videx VAR also has the capability to offer custom software designed to fit an end-user’s specific data collection application. Under the Partner Program, VARs can use Videx development tools to program readers, configure servers, fulfill integration requirements, and design bespoke data collection applications for virtually any barcode or RFID application. Depending on customer needs, VARs may employ an in-house software development team or rely on trusted relationships with independent software vendors. Because of their level of commitment to marketing Videx products, VARs receive the highest-level reseller discount.

VAR Participation Requirements

In order to participate in the Videx Partner Program at the VAR Partner Level, you must:

  • Submit a complete, accurate Partner Application.
  • Demonstrate that you are currently engaged in the business of selling system integration services or developing and distributing software solutions.
  • Accept the Videx Reseller Partner Agreement, which sets forth the terms of your participation in the Videx Partner Program.
  • Upon approval, provide a copy of a valid business license and resale tax certificate for all jurisdictions in which your company operates.
  • While participating in the Partner Program, maintain accurate, up-to-date information regarding your company.
  • Demonstrate your contribution to driving sales of Videx products by purchasing a minimum of $10,000 in Videx data collection products on an annual basis.
